Travel:

• There are many flights arriving daily and departing from Santo Domingo`s international airport "Las Americas", to many cities in the USA and Europe.
• Course participants are requested to book their flights by themselves and submit their arrival dates at least one week before their arrival to C-E-I-C. They will then receive from us the confirmation that "pick up" is arranged at Santo Domingo`s international airport.

Passport/ Tourist card/ Airport fees:

• For traveling to the Dominican Republic, your passport should be valid for at least 6 months. Most nationalities do not require a visa but a tourist card to enter the Dominican Republic. The tourist card can be purchased by the airline carrier or at the airport building in Santo Domingo for 10 US$. Furthermore, when leaving the country, a departure fee of 10 US$ is to be paid at the airport.

Currency:

• The currency of the Dominican Republic is the Peso
  (1 US$ = approx. RD$ 33.00)
• We recommend to take along with you US$ traveler's cheque or cash.

Health:

• No Vaccinations are required by law to enter the country.

• The voltage in the Dominican Republic is similar to that of the USA, 110AC/60 cycles.
